Founded in 2003 by Rob Sevier and Ken Shipley, The Numero Group has become one of the world’s most acclaimed archival record labels. With a catalog of over 20,000 songs, the label specializes in unearthing forgotten music and cultural ephemera from the 20th century, reissuing it with meticulous care and rich storytelling.

Mr Bongo

Established in 1989 as a London record shop, Mr Bongo has since become a cornerstone of global reissues and cultural rediscovery. Now based in Brighton, the label is best known for unearthing and reissuing rare Latin, Brazilian, African, and jazz recordings, while also championing underground hip-hop and contemporary artists.

LEAVING RECORDS

Founded by producer MatthewDavid in the mid-2000s, Leaving Records has grown from a boutique outlet for left-field hip-hop and dance into a vibrant home for sonic experimentation of every kind. Guided by its “All Genre” ethos, the label embraces jazz, ambient, funk, folk, neoclassical, hip-hop, new age, and everything in between.

INTERNATIONAL ANTHEM

TONAL UNION

Founded in 2022 by Adam Heron, Tonal Union is an independent imprint dedicated to genre-blurring and experimental works that move between ambient, post-classical, improvised, and electronic music. Driven by Heron’s background in art direction and curation, Tonal Union pairs its adventurous catalog with a strong visual identity, fostering a community that values exploration and connection.

Ghostly International

Founded in 1999 by Samuel Valenti IV out of a Michigan dorm room near the Detroit rave scene, Ghostly International began as a home for experimental electronic artists like Matthew Dear, Dabrye, and Tycho. What started as a DIY label has since grown into a Brooklyn-based, globally recognized platform that bridges music, visual art, and design.

SAM RECORDS

Founded in 2011 by Fred Thomas, Sam Records is a Paris-based non-profit label dedicated to reissuing French jazz treasures from the 1950s and 1960s. What began with Thomas’s passion for jazz and photography—and a reissue of Nathan Davis’s 1965 recording—has grown into a label renowned for its meticulous care and authenticity.

Efficient Space

Founded by longtime DJ and broadcaster Michael Kucyk, Efficient Space is a Melbourne-based reissue label dedicated to giving rare and overlooked music a second life. Emerging out of Kucyk’s Noise In My Head radio show, the label has built a reputation for adventurous curation, spanning everything from ‘90s Australian dance and post-punk to dream pop, Indigenous electronica, and minimal wave.
