Return Window
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase (for in-store orders) or delivery (for online orders).
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition you received it.
- It must include all original packaging and accessories.
- You’ll need your receipt or proof of purchase.
Physical Media
- Unopened/Sealed media can be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange.
- Opened media is not returnable, unless defective.
- If a record or CD is defective (e.g. skips, warps, or pressing flaws), contact us within 14 days of receiving it to request an exchange or refund.
- Limited or exclusive releases, such as Record Store Day items, are final sale unless defective.
Audio Equipment
- Audio equipment may be returned within 30 days if it is unused, undamaged, and in like-new condition with all original packaging and components.
- Opened equipment that shows signs of use may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% or may not be accepted if not in resalable condition.
- Equipment found to be defective within 30 days of receipt will be replaced or refunded. After 30 days, manufacturer warranties apply—we’re happy to assist with warranty claims.

If your return is approved, we’ll send you instructions and, if applicable, a return shipping label.
In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in-store may be returned at the store within 30 days of purchase, subject to the same conditions outlined above. Please bring your receipt or proof of purchase.
Online Orders Returned In-Store
Online orders may be returned in person at our Brooklyn store. Just bring your order confirmation and the item in its original condition.
Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to a defect, damage, or an error on our part, we’ll cover the return shipping.
- If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you are responsible for the return shipping cost. We can provide a discounted return label and deduct the cost from your refund if preferred.
- International customers are responsible for return shipping costs in all cases except when the item is defective or incorrect.
Exchanges
If you’d like a different item, the quickest way is to request a return and place a new order once your return is accepted.
Refunds
- We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. It may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the refund.
- If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us.
