Hania Rani’s original score for Joachim Trier’s Cannes and Golden Globe-winning, Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated film Sentimental Value marks her debut in film composition. Recorded between Abbey Road and Polish Radio studios, the music was composed strictly from the script before any film frames were edited. The project highlights the film's melancholic themes through rearrangements, reorchestrations, and September 2024 field recordings captured by Rani and sound engineer Agata Dankowska at the Oslo filming location.
