GrouperA I A : Alien Observer Vinyl LP

Grouper’s A I A: Alien Observer is the seventh album from Liz Harris, released in 2011 on her own Yellow Electric label. It’s a set of ambient songs built from long, sustained tones and tape manipulation, written over a few years after a breakup and leaving her full-time job. Released the same day as its companion, A I A: Dream Loss, it’s often considered the more accessible of the two.
