al.soportunes Vinyl EP

portunes introduces al.so, a remarkable new quartet featuring four distinctive voices from the contemporary European improvisation scene: Moses Yoofee, Miriam Adefris, Marius Max, and Robert Henriques. Originally brought together for a performance at Berlin's XJAZZ Festival, the group discovered a unique musical chemistry that led to an immersive recording session in rural Gloucestershire, England. The resulting EP blends contemporary jazz, ambient textures, free improvisation and electronic sound exploration into a spacious and deeply expressive listening experience. Drawing inspiration from the spiritual depth of Alice Coltrane, the sonic openness of Floating Points and the minimalist sensibilities associated with Philip Glass, portunes occupies a compelling space between composition and spontaneous creation. Featuring musicians with strong profiles across Europe's progressive music landscape, the release offers significant appeal for adventurous jazz and contemporary music audiences.
