Side A features entirely instrumental compositions performed by his live Bishara band—Tom Herbert (bass), Kareem Dayes (cello), Robert Stillman and Chelsea Carmichael (woodwinds and reeds), with Adrian Utley of Portishead contributing guitar on two tracks—while Skinner, composing primarily on guitar, steps into the role of bandleader with fluid ease.
