In This Body is the debut record from Texas-born, Chicago-based musician and visual artist Sparklmami, featuring the singles "Fajas" and "running." The release explores themes of perception and identity through a blend of experimental soul, Mexican bolero, and jazz funk performed alongside her band. The album's songwriting and improvisational sound draw inspiration from 1970s Brazilian jazz, traditional Mexican boleros, and Indian singer Runa Laila.
