Rumours Live captures Fleetwood Mac at the height of their 1977 fame, documenting their opening night at The Forum in Los Angeles on August 29. Fresh off the release of Rumours and a six-month world tour, the band—Mick Fleetwood, John and Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Lindsey Buckingham—performed to nearly 50,000 fans, delivering a setlist drawn largely from their two most recent albums. The show includes standout performances of “Landslide,” “Never Going Back Again,” “Songbird,” and “The Chain,” as well as a nod to the band’s earlier work with a rendition of Peter Green’s 1969 rock-guitar classic “Oh Well.” Recorded by engineer Ken Caillat using the Record Plant’s mobile truck, the concert remained largely unreleased for decades until 2021, when select tracks appeared on Live: Deluxe Edition.
